Workshop Wednesday ~ Makeup/Art Brush Cleaning

You are going to need
~ Plate
~ Dish soap (antibacterial)
~ Olive oil (to moisturize the bristles)
~ Teaspoon
~ Hand
~ Dirty Brushes
~ Hang Dryer and Elastics

Measure out 1 teaspoon Dish Soap and about 1/3 teaspoon olive oil onto plate

take your dirty brush and dip into soap. take the wet palm of your hand and make a figure8 pattern like you are painting. Rinse in warm NOT HOT water and dip into soap and olive oil and repeat 8 pattern. Do this again but do do it under the running water until all soapy residue stops showing on hand.

Hang Brushes do not lay flat or place in a cup upside down because the water will gather in the head and allow a bacteria area and compromise the Glue or clip holding the bristles together. I use the Hanger I purchased at the $store and elastics for the ones that are to big for the hander to clip.
